Cold Shoulder

1. Cold ShoulderIt took having a baby to force myself to be a better packer, only because we don’t have the luxury of extra space when we travel.

And I’m still not great.  I always throw in a couple extra things just in case, that I almost never end up wearing.  I also pack about ten extra pairs of underwear- no matter the length of the trip.  It makes my husband laugh every time but really, it takes up hardly any room and the one time I don’t pack it, that’s when I am going to need it.  I might have an undergarment paranoia.

Also, a little tip: if you don’t wear it at home, you won’t wear it on vacation.  I don’t know why I used to think that I would magically like a top while out of town that I never touched when it was in my closet.

Fortunately, that’s not the case with this top.  In fact, I can’t get enough of it.  It’s perfect for out of town events because it packs like a dream.  It is 100% polyester so it doesn’t wrinkle, no matter how much I pack on top of it.  Plus it is lightweight and carefree, matching the vacation mindset.

Do you have any packing tips?

PS I swear I own other pants.  These have been on major repeat lately.

I love this shirt! Boxy and flowy are the name if my gane:) but I also just had a baby and am feeling a bit “chesty”… What are your thoughts on pulling this look off with a bit more on top?

Hi Amy! I think this would look great. I actually bought it when I was postpartum, it got me through my first summer after baby when I wanted to dress up but still be comfortable. Something like this would be great for you right now.
